Know and understand the main types geographical activity, their division in general and in particular in cross-border industries ecological cooperation P03. Explain features of the organization geographical space depending on his physical geographical features, rice landscape structures. P07. Determine the main ones characteristics, processes, history and composition landscape shell and its components P08 Apply models, methods of physics, chemistry, geology, ecology, mathematics, information technologies, etc study of natural and social processes formation and development landscapes and their components.

1. Successful completion of the courses "Geology", "Cartography with the basics of topography". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of physics, chemistry, physical and economic geography, water and heat balance, geology, earth sciences, meteorology; 3. To have elementary practical skills in the analysis of cartographic materials, generalization of physical and geographical conditions according to various thematic maps, processing materials of observations of hydrometeorological elements, conducting calculations of morphometric and hydrographic characteristics of water bodies.

study discipline "Hydrology and Oceanology" dedicated to the study of the main sections of hydrology - land hydrology and oceanology; general physical processes in the hydrosphere; interconnectedness and interdependence of the hydrosphere with the atmosphere, lithosphere; water exchange on Earth; basic physical and geographical patterns of formation, nutrition and regime of land water bodies of various types (rivers, lakes, swamps, glaciers, underground water) and patterns of processes occurring in the World Ocean; information about water, thermal, ice regime, the formation of the chemical composition of the Earth's waters, the importance of river waters and their use; mineral, energy and biological resources of the World Ocean, as well attention is paid to consideration of such issues as the role of water in the functioning of ecosystems, monitoring pollution of the waters of land and the World Ocean, methods of study and research of water bodies on land and the World Ocean and modern hydroecological problems.
