P02. Know and understand the main ones types of geographical activity, their division in general and in particular in cross-border industries ecological cooperation. P10. Know the goals of sustainable development and professional opportunities spheres for their achievement, in that including in Ukraine during implementation programs and projects cross-border environmental cooperation P013. Understand the basics concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the industry natural sciences, which are necessary for analysis and acceptance cross-border and local solutions in the field of ecology, protection environment and optimal nature management

1. Successful completion of a school course in geography, history, and a foreign language. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of physical geography, chemistry, physics, the ability to establish causal relationships between natural and social processes. 3. Mastery of information synthesis and analysis methods.

The discipline is devoted to the study of the main ones provisions of cross-border ecological cooperation and main problems, on the solution of which it is aimed. Accordingly, the course consists of two content modules: principles (module 1) and problems (module 2) of cross-border environmental cooperation Within the first module, the initial principles, forms of cross-border and international environmental cooperation, the history of its formation and development, the main ones international organizations dealing with nature protection and other environmental issues problems, main international environmental agreements, conventions, programs. In the second module, the main problems of the ecological content, from which it is conducted, are considered cross-border ecological cooperation: development of cross-border eco-networks and nature conservation areas, ecological monitoring, rational nature management in basins of international rivers and transboundary natural regions, in particular in the Carpathians, Polissi, Prydanavii, etc.
