Learning outcomes
1.1. Know the main stages of formation and development of market sociology and socio-economic aspects of scientific knowledge of market relations. 1.2. Know the status of market relations as a specific form of socio-economic interaction and the main stages of its institutionalization. 1.3. Know the features of socio-economic organization of the market and its production. 2.1. Be able to reconstruct the stages of formation of the sociology of market as a branch of sociological knowledge. 2.2. Be able to compare theoretical models of market development as a social institution. 2.3. Be able to use the basic empirical economic and sociological methods and techniques of studying market relations. 2.4. Be able to competently identify and analyze social problems of economic and economic behavior of people, summarize the analyzed material and compile a written report on the work done.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of institutional sociology, sociology of economics, sociology of labor, sociology of organizations, sociology of management, economic theory, basics of macro- and microeconomics. 2. Be able to obtain the necessary sociological data from a variety of information and scientific sources. 3. Have such basic methods of analysis of sociological information as content analysis - qualitative and quantitative method of document processing.
Course content
Topic 1. Sociology of market as a branch of sociological knowledge. Topic 2. The market as a social institution. Topic 3. Economic structure of the market and its impact on social processes. Topic 4. The market as a factor of social change. Economic competition as a social phenomenon. Topic 5. Sociology of money and financial behavior in the structure of sociology of market. Topic 6. Market economy and market policy of the state in their interaction.
