Learning outcomes
1.1. To know the modern and latest sociological theories and methodological approaches to the diagnosis and interpretation of social inequalities
2.1. Be able to apply modern and latest sociological theories and methodological approaches to the diagnosis and interpretation of social inequalities
2.2. To be able to analyze sociological information to solve the problems of diagnosing social inequalities
2.3. To be able to design a sociological study of the problems of social inequalities, justify the research methodology
3.1. Present the results of analytical work, justify the choice of research methodology
4.1. Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility in research design, diagnosis and interpretation of social inequality problems

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the theoretical foundations of sociological understanding of social phenomena and processes; • Be able to work with sociological and statistical data; • Have the skills to work with scientific literature and information resources, search for information sources.

1. Introduction to the discipline. Types of social inequalities and stratification systems in modern societies
2. Modern stratification analysis of inequalities
3. Modern class analysis of inequalities
4. Types and forms of social mobility, methodological features of their research
5. Manifestations and factors of conflict-causing social inequalities in society: individual research projects with presentation and discussion of results
