Learning outcomes
To know: subject, methods, tasks, theoretical foundations, causes for the formation of professional and ethical research, criteria for distinguishing between applied, professional and corporate ethics, principles of moral and normative support of various professional spheres, the relationship between professional culture and professional morality
Be able to: conduct ethical discourse on topical issues of moral practice, demonstrate knowledge of specialized literature on professional and corporate ethics, qualified to identify moral conflicts
Communication: to conduct an ethical discourse on topical issues of modern moral practice, to use knowledge of foreign languages, present the results of research and independent work in the form of reports, reports, essays, presentations
Autonomy and responsibility: to have methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information, develop a critical attitude to the interpretation of moral problems

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of methodology and organization of sociological research, the principles of philosophical and sociological ideas about morality, values, interests, corporate culture, social expectations, the provisions of professional ethics of the sociologist.
2. To be able to analyze information about the features of moral and professional problems, responsibilities and deontology in professional activities, moral dilemmas; apply basic concepts, categories in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; identify current trends in the interpretation of professional ethics and corporate culture, predict the prospects for their development in the context of the development of civilization processes in modern conditions.
3. To have basic skills in research and information management; analysis, critical attitude and prognosis of the prospects of solving socio-cultural, moral and ethical, moral and psychological problems of personal development and social functioning.
Course content
1. Ethics in the context of "practical turn" in philosophical and ethical discourse.
2. Applied ethics as a direction of modern ethical research.
3. Socio-philosophical dimensions of professional ethics.
4. Corporate ethics and corporate social responsibility.
5. Professionalism of sociologists in times of crisis and social transformation.
6. Moral capital in the professional and corporate environment.
7. Moral licensing as an element of corporate ethics.
8. "Ethics of Success": idea and implementation.

1. Oral presentations, participation in discussions in practical classes: LR 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 2.4, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 - max 35 / min 21 points.
2. Essays, analytical reviews: LR 1.3, 1.5, 2.1,2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 3.1,3.2,3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 - max 15 / min 9 points.
3. Presentation: LR 1.2, 1.6, 2.2, 2.3, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3. - max 10 / min 6 points.
4. Term paper: LR 1.5, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 - max 20 / min 12 points.
5. Final tests: LR - 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.2 - max 20 / min 12 points (2 final tests of 10 maximum or 6 minimum points each)
final assessment: credit.
