Learning outcomes
know the history and current state of sociology of public opinion;
know the basics of general theoretical approaches to the sociology of public opinion, the content of basic concepts, theoretical positions and key concepts used by sociological science in the case of public opinion research;
understand the meaning of the processes taking place among the subjects of public opinion, in particular, at the global, national, local levels;
to highlight the main contradictions and trends in the development of both public opinion and sociology of public opinion, to independently understand issues related to the place and role of the media in modern world and domestic public life;
publicly present the results of independent work.
