1.1 know the history and current state of sociology of education; 1.2 know the basics of general theoretical conclusions and methodological approaches of sociology of education, the content of basic concepts, theoretical positions and key concepts used by sociological science in the field of educational research; 2.1 understand the meaning of the processes taking place in the education system, in particular, at the global, national, local levels; 2.2 identify the main problems and trends in education, independently analyze and summarize social information about the place and role of education in modern world and domestic public life; 3 to publicly present the results of independent work; 4 to independently develop a research project on educational issues on the basis of search and analysis of the results of sociological research.

Full-time form

1. Know modern sociological theories, basics of sociology of culture, social statistics and demography. 2. Have basic skills in using methods of sociological research.

The min. score for passing the exam (receiving an overall positive grade) is 24 points
