Learning outcomes
1.1 Knowledge of the essence of empirical research, its programming and stages.
1.2 Knowledge of the essence and features of "quantitative" and "qualitative" methods of collecting sociological information.
2.1 Be able to choose the method of collecting sociological information in accordance with the purpose and objectives of sociological research and cognitive capabilities of the method.
2.2 Have the basic skills to develop appropriate tools for sociological research.
3.1 Demonstrate the ability to organize and support communication in the process of group tasks.
4.1 Be able to independently formulate a goal, set specific objectives, research, develop tools.

1. Successful mastering of the discipline "Introduction to the specialty".
2 Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the methodology of sociological research.
3. Knowledge of English.

1. answers to the practical lesson LR 1.1, LR1.2, LR2.1, LR2.2, LR4.1 (2 points * 10 = 20 points maximum, 12 - minimum);
2. performance of tasks in practical classes (analysis of observation cards, questionnaires, interview guides, classifier of content analysis, telephone interviews, etc.) LR1.2, LR2.1, LR2.2, LR3.1, LR4.1 (2 points * 10 = 20 points maximum, 12 points minimum);
3. crediting the results of distance learning courses "Sociology and social research: what, how, why?" on Prometheus and the online course "Questionnaire Design for Social Surveys" on Coursera (free 7-day version); Success scores from the screenshot sent to the teacher are indexed 1:10 LR1.1, LR1.2, LR2.1, LR2.2, LR3.1 (10 points * 2 = 20 points maximum, 12 points minimum);
final assessment: written exam LR1.1, LR1.2, LR2.1, LR2.2, LR4.1 (ticket contains a block of test questions for 35 points maximum and open question for 5 points maximum) - 40 points. The minimum score for passing the exam is 24 points.
