Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses: Practical course of Chinese language, Linguistica and Country Studies, Medieval literatures of the East (by language direction), Fundamentals of Chinese linguoculture, Chinese hieroglyphics as an object of Linguoculture, Linguoculture interpretation of Chinese-language texts; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of philological science (linguistics and literary studies) and cultural studies; 3. Possession of translation skills in Chinese-language texts, as well as methodological tools for linguistic and cultural analysis of original texts.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form an idea among oriental students about the specifics of the gender matrix in the language picture of the World of Chinese; familiarization with the gender characteristics of China's culture from antiquity to our time; education of students' practical ability to carry out gender analysis of Chinese-language texts. The main task associated with the development of the gender aspect of the Chinese language and cultural space is the study of the actual material on specific examples of historical, cultural and literary heritage.Module 1 aims to study the gender characteristics of Chinese traditional culture; Module 2 aims to master the gender specifics of Chinese literature and language communication. The discipline belongs to the selective block "Chinese Studies: Linguoculture and Translation".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides the following forms of training organization: lecture and seminar classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: answers to seminary lessons, creative works (reports, presentations), modular control work. Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 60 points, in the minimum dimension of 36 points. Final assessment: an exam conducted in the form of written work; 1 theoretical question with open answers, which is estimated at 15 points, 1 practical task (gender analysis of a passage of the original Chinese-language text), which is estimated at 25 points. The criteria for semester assessment and evaluation criteria for the exam are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
