Learning outcomes
To know: subject and tasks of the sociology of culture and art; subject, object, methods, tasks, theoretical foundations, reasons for the formation of corporate culture research; the main stages of transformation of sociological knowledge about culture and art; conceptual and categorical apparatus of corporate culture research. To be able to: apply general provisions of sociological theories to specific facts of artistic practice; navigate the main socio-cultural theories; identify the sociological content of phenomena within contemporary culture and art; evaluate trends and phenomena of contemporary Ukrainian and world culture and art from the standpoint of sociology. Communication: to use knowledge of foreign languages to read the latest sociological and cultural literature in preparation for seminars and writing independent works. Autonomy and responsibility: search for and critically analyse literature on the sociology of culture and art, corporate culture;

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the main stages and characteristics of the socio-cultural process; the main types of societies and methods of their research; basic philosophical concepts, categories and methods of socio-philosophical knowledge. To be able to: collect and interpret information about the processes taking place in society; identify current trends in the development of different societies; analyse socio-philosophical and cultural texts; apply basic concepts, categories in the analysis of socio-cultural, socio-economic and professional-corporate phenomena and processes; identify modern trends in understanding and interpreting corporate culture. To have: basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude towards socio-cultural events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional sociological and cultural information sources.

Part 1: Sociology of Culture Culture as an object of sociological research Formation of the Sociology of Culture in the Nineteenth and Early Twentieth Centuries. The problem of culture in the sociological knowledge of the twentieth century. City as a social "ecological complex" Sociology of architecture Sociology of youth: problems of socialisation by means of culture Sociology of art and artistic culture: stages of formation Criticism in the socio-cultural space Art and the art market. Social functions of contemporary art Sociology of fiction and music Sociology of theatre and cinema Independent work: "Sociological research" Control work Part 2. Corporate culture Corporate culture as an object of theoretical analysis New socio-economic practices in the development of corporate culture Historical processes of corporate culture formation Corporatism as a qualitative characteristic of corporate culture Structure of corporate culture Moral and psychological climate and motivation in labour activity. Team management Difficulties in business communication and ways to solve them Problems of burnout, mobbing, procrastination in corporate life Corporate social responsibility
