PR01. Apply acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the study of natural and socio-territorial systems on different levels of spatial organization. PR04. Conduct research and/or carry out innovative activities with with the aim of obtaining new knowledge, developing new methods and procedures in geography and interdisciplinary contexts. PR06. Apply modern models and information technologies for conducting research and development in the field of geography, nature management, and urban planning and regional development. PR11. Assess possible socio-economic and geo-ecological risks the consequences of the implementation of management decisions in the field of nature management, urban and regional development, recreation and tourism.

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Theory of political geography and geopolitics", "Theory of geographical locations". 2. Search skills and work with geographical ones, including regional statistics data 3. Ability to work with cartographic materials. 4. Possessing the skills of analysis, synthesis, situation modeling and forecasting.

The discipline reveals theoretical and applied aspects regional (especially country studies) analysis of political processes and phenomena. Getters form the skills of researching territorially delineated political systems taking into account their geographically determined specifics, including features of the geographical location, geocultural environment, economic potential, key problems of sociopolitical development, relations in the system of global and regional geopolitical interactions, etc.
