Learning outcomes
PR9. To design and organize events for the cultivation of planting material of ornamental woody plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, form an idea about the preservation of biological diversity to increase the productivity, increase the stability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change. PR17. Present, model and develop projects of landscaping, horticulture, landscape architecture and environmental design using the latest technologies and graphic presentation techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Decorative dendrology", "Landscaping of populated areas", "Agrotechnics of green construction", "Mechanization of garden and park management". 2. The ability to take care of green areas. 3. Possession of basic skills for working with garden and park objects.
Course content
The discipline "Decorative horticulture and park science" is a selective educational discipline that forms theoretical and practical knowledge about the range of fruit trees, bushes and vines suitable for decorative horticulture, methods of their formation, cultivation technology, creation of artificial forms and care for them in plantations.
