Learning outcomes
PR9. To design and organize events for the cultivation of planting material of ornamental woody plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements. PR14. To perform professional tasks clearly and qualitatively, to improve the technology of their implementation and to teach others. PR15. Organize effective and safe working conditions. PR17. Present, model and develop projects of landscaping, horticulture, landscape architecture and environmental design using the latest technologies and graphic presentation techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the academic disciplines "Decorative dendrology", "Mechanization of horticulture", "Greening of populated areas", "Soil science and soil microbiology", "Agrotechnics of green construction". 2. The ability to independently apply knowledge of the peculiarities of planning, arranging and caring for decorative plantings in garden and park facilities; take care of green areas. 3. Possession of basic skills for working with garden and park objects.
Course content
The discipline "Topiary art and the basics of compositions" is an optional educational discipline that forms theoretical and practical knowledge about the elements of topiary art (hedges, borders, living walls, molded plants, berso, arches, labyrinths, etc.), an assortment of woody plants suitable for cutting, methods of their formation, cultivation technology, creation of artificial ones forms of woody ornamental plants and their care in plantations.
