Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the course "Fundamentals of translation practice", "Practice of translation of The Chinese language", etc.; 2. Knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations of the course "Lexicology of the Chinese language"; 3. Possession of lexical and grammatical models and designs, possession of vocabulary that meets the requirements of the program "Chinese: basic level", "Chinese: intermediate level", "Chinese: advanced level". 4. The ability to freely, flexibly and effectively use the Chinese language orally and in writing, in various genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative problems in various spheres of life and the basic level of speech and speech training.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to study the basic provisions of stylistics as a science about the purposeful use of language, the expansion of knowledge about the functional styles of speech and functional types of speech, which is especially relevant in the system of general training of philologist students in connection with the new paradigm of linguistic knowledge and changes in the system of language education aimed at speech development of students and improving their communicative competence. The discipline is one of the selective disciplines of the specialty "Philology (Oriental languages and literatures (translation inclusive), the first is Chinese)" under the program "Chinese Language and Literature and Translation, English" of the selective block "Chinese Studies: Linguistics and Translation".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides for the following forms of training organization: lecture and seminar classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer to the seminary lesson, modular control work with open answers, testing (blitz survey). Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 60 points, in the minimum dimension of 36 points. The discipline ends with an exam, which is conducted in the form of an oral answer to two questions, each of which is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points. Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
