Learning outcomes
To know:
basic terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies in the analysis of cultural phenomena and characteristics of cultural processes in the modern world;
current socio-cultural situation, trends in cultural development.
To be able to:
conduct an examination of cultural values, cultural projects, research and educational activities;
conduct research on current issues of socio-cultural activity, using the latest methods and approaches;
to carry out project and analytical work in the areas of socio-cultural activity, to develop and manage innovative cultural projects;
develop and implement cultural projects within the work team, taking into account the social, economic, legal, aesthetic and ethical parameters of their implementation;
Communication:
to use knowledge of foreign languages to analyse information resources.
Autonomy and responsibility:
to present the results of research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students should know the basic cultural theories and methods of cultural studies, including methods of philosophy of culture, cultural anthropology, sociology of culture, economics of culture; basic cultural concepts and categories; history of formation and development,
patterns, specifics, features of functioning in the system of culture of a particular historical era.
2. Be able to collect and interpret information about cultural phenomena and phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply basic terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; use the acquired knowledge and skills in research work.
3. Possess basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting of cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional philosophical and cultural informative sources.

Evaluation of work during the internship period:
1. Work practice (internship in a research institution) - 30 / 50 points
2. Research work - 18 / 30 points
3. Approbation of scientific work -12 / 20 points
The total score is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire period of practice. The total grade for the semester consists of the points obtained for industrial practice (internship in a research institution), research work (preparation of a scientific article, writing a review of a scientific article of another student) and for the approbation of a scientific work (writing and submitting abstracts to the conference "Days of Science of the Faculty of Philosophy"). All types of work for the period of practice have a total
- a maximum of 100 points
- a minimum of 60 points
