Learning outcomes
PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian, English and German / French / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese. PLO 13. Analyse and interpret works of Ukrainian and English fiction and oral folk art, to determine their particularities and place in the literary process. PLO 17. Collect, analyse, systematize and interpret language and speech facts and use them to solve complex problems and tasks in specialized fields of professional activity and / or training. PLO 21 Know the approaches to evaluating and ensuring the quality of copywriting, rewriting and speechwriting. PLO 23 Make, edit and translate written and oral texts of political or business discourse (Ukrainian and English).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Successful completion of the following courses: "Fundamentals of Proofreading and Editing", "Abstracting and Annotating Business Texts", "Linguistic and Cultural Concepts in Advertising"; 2. Students should know the basic characteristics of text composition, linguistic, stylistic and other editing norms, basic principles of analytical and synthetic text processing. 3. Be able to edit and proofread business texts, search and systematize literature, abstract and annotate documents. 4. Possess basic skills in working with search engines, general and specific methods of editing and proofreading, annotating and abstracting.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to develop students' modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills in copywriting and rewriting, which are used in the creation of business texts, studying current genre models and types of copywriting and rewriting. The subject of the discipline "Copywriting" is the theoretical, communicative and practical foundations of the process of writing business texts. The discipline "Copywriting and Rewriting of Business Texts" is one of the components of the elective block "Business Linguistics". The course is aimed at developing specific skills of working with text: both analytical and semantic processing of existing texts (rewriting) and creation of new texts (copywriting). Students study the specifics of different types of copywriting (advertising, creative, etc.); work with different types of advertising texts (press release, newsletter, social media posts, etc.); create unique textual content in accordance with modern requirements and challenges for copywriters.

Verbal, visual and practical methods of teaching: lecture, practical training, independent work Activities: Answering practical questions, supplementing, participating in discussions, analyzing, tests, written works, final control tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods and criteria The form of final control is a test. By type of work, a student can score the following number of points: - Answer in a practical class - 3 points (x10 = 30 points) - Independent work (synopsis, abstract, annotation - at the discretion of the teacher) - 30 points - Written assignment (analytical review, abstract) - 20 points - Final test - 20 points - The final grade is formed as the sum of all points gained during the semester: - 0-59 - no credit, 60-100 - credit.
