Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in state and foreign languages (Hindi and English) orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO 10. To know the norms of the literary Hindi and English languages and be able to apply them in practical activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Interdisciplinary connections: Foreign language (English), theory of translation from English. Students must possess FL at a level not lower than B2, as well as know the theory of translation, be able to practically apply modern translation methods, possess elementary skills: application of theoretical knowledge of translation theory.
Course content
The purpose of communicative and translation practice without attending classes (English) is to consolidate the knowledge obtained in classes on the theory and practice of translation, practical application of modern translation methods.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Participation in an instructional conference on communicative and translation practice. Acquaintance with the base of communicative and translation practice. Regular consultations with the manager of communicative and translation practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
Translation of texts - max. 30 points. Compilation of credit documentation, practice diary. Participation in the discussion of the results of practice (max.10 points). Defence of report documentation (max.10 points).
