1. To explain features of the organization geographical space, including spatio-temporal patterns of organization landscapes (PRN-4) 2. To use field and laboratory methods for analysis natural and social geographical objects and systems (PRN-8) 3. Apply skills productive communication with consumers ecosystem services,in particular with a goal set-up participatory management nature conservation activity (PRN-12) 4. Be professional detection tolerance alternative precepts (PRN-15) 5. Identify problematic ones situations and offer ways of solving them (PRN-20)

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. to know the key provisions of the theoretical foundations of the disciplines of physical of the geographical cycle taught during 1-6 semesters (geology,meteorology, hydrology and oceanology, soil science, biogeography etc); 2. be able to apply the principles, approaches and methods of learning physical geographical organization of territories and space of existence of "living matter"; 3. to possess methods of geographical analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge on territory mapping, statistical and mathematical analysis methods; 4. to have tools for searching for information on biodiversity issues world and subject data in various information sources
Course content
Biodiversity of the world is a constituent discipline of the cycle of disciplines for professional training of specialists in the field of geography, ecology, territorial management, management natural resources, cartography. Knowledge of its main provisions is necessary for solving a wide range of tasks in nature management, nature protection,environmental monitoring, recreational geography and others. The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the history of the formation of content of the theoretical and methodological foundations of world biodiversity research. Provides knowledge about: the history of the formation and development of the Earth's organic world; the main ones patterns of distribution of living organisms, biocenoses, habitats,biogeocenoses on the planet and in the regions. Provides: understanding of environmental prerequisites and factors for the distribution of "living matter"; possibility of assimilation knowledge of the basics of chorology, patterns of distribution, configuration and dynamics of habitats of organisms and biocenoses. Acquaints with: theoretical methodical principles of biogeographical analysis of territories; principles and tasks of biogeographical classifications, zoning and zoning; regional floras, faunas, biomes. Provides the possibility of assimilation knowledge about the composition, structure and peculiarities of the organic world of Ukraine.Get acquainted with the features of anthropogenic changes and organic transformations the world Outlines ways and mechanisms of biodiversity conservation.
