Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of biogeography", "Fundamentals meteorology", "Soil science with the basics of soil geography", "Basics of general geology", "Fundamentals of hydrology and oceanology", "Cartography with the basics of topography". 2. To know the structural components of the geographical envelope, the properties of individual ones geocomponents and characterize the features of their interaction on different spatio-temporal levels. To give a biogeographical description of the territories, them flora and plant associations. 3. To know the peculiarities of the functioning of geosystems and the main physical and geographical ones the processes taking place in them, the leading circulations of matter and energy, which are responsible for the functional differentiation of the geosphere. 4. To be able to work with generally geographical, thematic and topographical cartographic materials, use them for orientation terrain
Course content
Educational practice is dedicated practical consolidation of skills and abilities of biogeographic characteristics territory, acquiring skills in the application of field research methods in particular for the study of plant cover, conducting observations, implementation complex geographical descriptions, filling out field documentation; acquisition competences of cooperation and work in a group, settlement of disagreements and conflicts; mastering the skills to make a geographical description and description, make generalizations and formulate conclusions, as well as design expedition documentation and reporting materials. Educational practice consists of three stages: 1) introductory and preparatory; 2) main - route; 3) cameral (final). At the first stage of practice, the teacher introduces students to the route and practice program, gives them an introductory lecture, advises on issues effective organization of expeditionary field research, conducts safety training, etc. Also at the preparatory stage of practice a detailed route is being developed and its comprehensive route is being conducted geographical analysis according to the defined plan, field objects are outlined observations, places of laying soil sections. Training on dress code, equipment and safety techniques when traveling the routes. The route stage of the practice is conducted according to the defined plan. Under during this stage, familiarization with the features of natural and anthropogenic landscapes of practice sites are studied in detail physical-geographical, socio-geographical and economic-geographical features selected objects, field studies are conducted. Mandatory element each route has a lecture in which the main questions that will be discussed are outlined illustrated in the following route. The routes are carried out on foot in in radial directions from the reserve and by bus to remote underground ones cuts
