Course content
Educational practice is dedicated
practical consolidation of skills and abilities of biogeographic characteristics
territory, acquiring skills in the application of field research methods in particular
for the study of plant cover, conducting observations, implementation
complex geographical descriptions, filling out field documentation; acquisition
competences of cooperation and work in a group, settlement of disagreements and
conflicts; mastering the skills to make a geographical description and description,
make generalizations and formulate conclusions, as well as design
expedition documentation and reporting materials.
Educational practice consists of three stages:
1) introductory and preparatory;
2) main - route;
3) cameral (final).
At the first stage of practice, the teacher introduces students to the route and
practice program, gives them an introductory lecture, advises on issues
effective organization of expeditionary field research, conducts
safety training, etc. Also at the preparatory stage of practice
a detailed route is being developed and its comprehensive route is being conducted
geographical analysis according to the defined plan, field objects are outlined
observations, places of laying soil sections.
Training on dress code, equipment and
safety techniques when traveling the routes.
The route stage of the practice is conducted according to the defined plan. Under
during this stage, familiarization with the features of natural and
anthropogenic landscapes of practice sites are studied in detail
physical-geographical, socio-geographical and economic-geographical features
selected objects, field studies are conducted. Mandatory element
each route has a lecture in which the main questions that will be discussed are outlined
illustrated in the following route. The routes are carried out on foot in
in radial directions from the reserve and by bus to remote underground ones
