Learning outcomes
LO02. Evaluate the results of one's own work, demonstrate the ability to work in a team. LO04. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of academic disciplines taught at the Department of Earth Sciences and Geomorphology, passing educational and industrial practices during studies at the bachelor's level of education; 2) the ability to work with scientific, bibliographic, cartographic, stock materials in a professional direction, to use modern soil and geographical research methods; 3) knowledge of the basics of systematic and statistical analysis, mastery of critical thinking, mastery of elementary communication skills with colleagues and specialists of other fields of knowledge.
Course content
Production practice (separated from theoretical training) includes educational and methodical work. Educational work involves familiarization with the planning and organization of scientific work of the practice base. Methodical work is aimed at collecting and processing the source materials necessary for writing the master's qualification thesis. In industrial practice, two stages are conventionally distinguished: initial (adaptation), which lasts no more than a week, and industrial (field), which lasts until the end of the student's stay in practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final evaluation for practical training is conducted in the form of a differentiated credit and represents the student's defense of his practical training report before the appointed committee or members of the department. The maximum number of points that a student can receive during the assessment is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the assessment is 24 points, which is 60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the assessment. Assessment is done orally.
