LO04. Conduct research and/or conduct innovative activities in order to obtain new knowledge, develop new methods and procedures in geography and interdisciplinary contexts. LO06. Apply modern models and information technologies for conducting research and development in the field of geography, in particular geomorphology, paleogeography and geotourism. LO12. Plan and carry out theoretical and applied research, draw reasonable conclusions, analyze and present research results. LO13. To carry out scientific and pedagogical activities in institutions of higher education, to develop the educational, methodological and informational support necessary for this.

Full-time form

Having a bachelor's degree, successfully mastering the disciplines of the 1st semester of master's studies.

The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules: 1. General issues of methodology and organization of scientific research. 2. Fundamentals of intellectual property. 3. Organization of scientific research in the field of geomorphology and paleogeography.

The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of answers to seminar classes, written test papers, and an exam. Assessment for knowledge of theory (minimum 12, maximum 20 points); assessment for the practical part (13 – 20). For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 35 points, it is necessary to pass an additionally completed individual complex task for admission to the final control form.
