Learning outcomes
LO07. Participate in the planning of various territories at the regional and local levels. LO08. Conduct research on natural and geographical manifestations of the development of geosystems in complex and unpredictable conditions, forecast their development, analyze alternatives, assess risks and probable consequences. LO10. Apply geo-information technologies, create and research models of natural-geographic manifestations of the development of geosystems, determine the possibilities and limits of their application. LO11. Assess possible risks, socio-economic and geoecological consequences of the implementation of management decisions in the field of nature management, recreation and tourism. LO 15. Independently assess the key trends in the development of natural and geographical processes for the formation of new directions in scientific research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Mastering the disciplines, "Methodology of geographic science", "Anthropogenic geomorphology", "Rhythmics of natural processes", "Dangerous processes in the environment", "Management of eco-projects, international cooperation in the field of geography and nature protection". 2) The ability to analyze the environmental situation on various information slices, to determine the main environmental problems and conflicts of nature use. 3) Possession of the skills of analysis of cartographic materials and construction of maps.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical-methodological and applied issues of geoplanning. This educational discipline is one of the mandatory components of the comprehensive preparation of the educational program "Geomorphology and paleogeography" of the "Geography" specialty.

Assessment methods and criteria
The survey in the form of a test is conducted after the completion of the teaching of each topic. Creative analytical and analytical and computational works in the form of presentations are prepared in accordance with the schedule of seminar classes. The first modular test is conducted in the last week of October, the second modular test is conducted in the last week of November. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points, writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the exam
