Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: basics of modern information systems and technologies, communication theory, public relations, system methods of research of international relations, information technology in forecasting and analytical activities. Be able to: collect data, define a key message, target audience Have basic skills: working with a computer, preparing presentations, literacy, formulation and logical presentation of one's own opinion
Course content
Module 1. Processing of raster graphic images. Topic 1. Raster graphics and work in raster graphics editors, the main tools of the raster graphics editor GIMP, layers, alpha channel, layer masks. Topic 2. Creating special effects in the raster graphics editor GIMP. Basic concepts of photo design. Module 2. Working with vector images. Topic 3. Creating and processing vector images using the graphic editor InkScape. Topic 4. Presentation of graphic information in the form of infographics using the online resource Piktochart

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of assessment: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of student work in seminars, the quality of preparation of written independent, tests, case studies, presentations and individual presentations. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: activity and quality of speeches, reports at seminars, participation in discussions, quality of individual tasks on topics, activity during the discussion of case studies and subject discussions (separately for the 1st and 2nd module) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive scores - 13 points). Final module test work from the 1st module (conducted in the form of an online test on the Moodle platform) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive assessment - 12 points); final module test work from the 2nd module (conducted in the form of an online test on the Moodle platform) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive assessment - 12 points).
