Learning outcomes
To know the structure and purpose of software; the principles of work in the operating system environment, basic concepts of data protection and storage, principles of work, methods of effective use of hardware and software for processing electronic documents, basic mechanisms of data exchange, general concepts and principles of effective information retrieval; principles of work with basic Internet services. To be able to effectively use hardware to solve specific practical problems; to work in the environment of operating systems, create, modify, store, organize electronic documents; use modern data exchange mechanisms; co-work with documents, protect personal information from computer viruses and unauthorized access, search for information on the Internet. To use modern information and communication technologies in the field of international relations
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- knowledge of the basics of using operating systems and software;
- ability to study, analyze, evaluate and apply software to solve current tasks;
- acquisition and possession of basic software application skills.

Lectures, laboratory classes
Assessment methods and criteria
1) defense of individual laboratory tasks;
2) two modular tests.
3) examination.
Students can receive up to 60 points for laboratory work and writing 2 module tasks.
In laboratory classes, students perform practice-oriented tasks, which are assessed with a maximum of 10 points (threshold level of a positive assessment - 2 points).
Content module 1 (CM1) includes topics 1 - 4. Mandatory for the test is the completion of individual work provided for in the work program of the discipline in topics 2-4.
Content module 2 (CM2) includes topics 5-9. Mandatory for the exam is the completion of individual work provided for in the work program of the discipline in topics 5-9.
