Learning outcomes
PLO 5. Use methods of collecting information in the field of geodesy and land management, its systematization and classification in accordance with the assigned design or production task; PLO 7. To use methods and technologies of land management design, territorial and economic land management, land use planning and protection, cadastral surveys and maintenance of the state land cadastre; PLO 8. Develop projects of land management, land management and cadastral documentation and land valuation documentation, draw up maps and prepare cadastral data using computer technologies, geoinformation systems and digital photogrammetry; PLO 9. Process the results of geodetic measurements, topographic and cadastral surveys, using geoinformation technologies and computer software and database management systems;

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the course "Cartography", "Digital cartography", "Geo-information technologies". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of information technology sciences and computer graphics. 3. Possession of elementary skills in working with databases.
Course content
The course of the academic discipline is designed for the study of basic theoretical information on geoinformation analysis and modeling by students of geodesy and land management; types and tasks of geoinformation analysis, characteristics of geographic information, types of attributive information are provided, standards in the field of geospatial data use, software for data input, storage, editing in geoinformation systems, GIS analysis functions are considered; solving tasks based on the constructed digital model of the terrain; types of map overlays and operations with them.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of practical, independent, modular control tests and assessment. Final evaluation: in the form of an exam The final grade from the educational component, the final form of control for which credit is established, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes of 60 points and credit of 40 points. Scores below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final score. It is mandatory to receive a positive final grade (60 points and above and "satisfactory") to complete all practical work and modular control work.
