PLO1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO20. Demonstrate basic knowledge of translation theory, basic theoretical and practical problems of translation studies in the context of a specific pair of languages (Vietnamese and Ukrainian). PLO22. To apply the knowledge and skills necessary to create an adequate written and oral translation of texts of various genres and styles from an oriental language into Ukrainian and vice versa.

1) успішне опанування дисциплін «Основи практики перекладу», «Практика перекладу», «Основи теорії перекладу (за мовним спрямуванням)», «Східна мова: просунутий рівень» тощо; 2) знання теоретичних основ філологічної науки (мовознавства й літературознавства), культурології, історії та географії В’єтнаму; 3) володіння навичками лексико-граматичного та стилістичного аналізу оригінальних творів.

The aim of the discipline is to develop and improve students' language and translation competence in accordance with their specialty, to achieve a level of translation competence that will enable them to carry out professional translation activities in various types of translation in oral and written forms from Ukrainian into Vietnamese. The discipline "Ukrainian-Eastern Language Translation" (Part 3) is one of the compulsory components of the comprehensive discipline "Translation Practice", which logically continues the disciplines "Fundamentals of Translation Practice" (Part 1) and "Translation Practice (Oriental Language)" (Part 2).

The course provides for the following forms of learning organization: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods and individual work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: answers in practical classes, individual assignments (written translation of the text), and module tests. The details of the planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the discipline's work program published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, including theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. The number of semester points is formed by the points received by the student for classroom work and for individual work; in total: in the maximum dimension 60 points, in the minimum dimension 36 points. Final assessment: exam. The exam is conducted in the form of written work, the exam paper consists of two practical tasks, each of which is evaluated with a maximum of 20 points. The criteria for semester assessment and the criteria for exam assessment are presented in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
