Prerequisites and co-requisites
Preliminary conditions and additional requirements 1) successful mastering of academic disciplines of the general language cycle of the "bachelor" level 2) knowledge of general information of modern pedagogical theory and practice, the latest linguodidactic methods and techniques of pedagogical activity of the secondary school teacher and the university language teacher, the basics of linguistic terminology 3) mastera of basic skills and abilities of language analysis in its social, functional, system-structural, ethnocultural dimensions.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is in-depth acquaintance of students with the achievements of modern psycholinguistics in its theoretical and linguopragmatic, linguodidactic dimensions, the formation of a holistic view of the problems of modern psycholinguistics in correlation with the actual problems of modern methods and techniques of language teaching in a senior specialized school, the acquisition by students of knowledge, skills and abilities for continuous improvement of the psycholinguistic component of their linguodidactic activities.
Abstract. The discipline "Psycholinguistic foundations of language teaching" belongs to the list of selective educational components of the OPP "Theory and methods of teaching the Ukrainian language and literature and a foreign language in the senior specialized school". Its subject is the study of a set of forms and manifestations of human speech activity – production, perception of speech, speech memory, ontogenesis of speech in a projection on the types of educational activities of the student and the teacher. Special attention is paid to the psycholinguistic aspects of bilingualism and diglossia in the modern educational space of Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides the following assignments: 1) oral response (max.40), 2) addition, participation in the discussion (max.16), 3) test work with closed answers (max.12), 4) creative task (essay, abstract, presentation) (max.12), 5) final test in the form of tests (max.20). For the semester, the student receives 100 points maximum / 60 points minimum. The discipline ends with a test.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student during the semester, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 100 points (100%) – semester control. The minimum number of points in determining the semester final grade is 60 (formative assessment) based on the results of training PH 1.1-PH 1.5; PH 2.1-PH 2.4; PH 3.1-PH 3.2; PH 4.1.-4.5.
