Prerequisites and co-requisites
To be eligible for the course students are required to: methodology of studies of foreign language at school, pedagogics, psychology and pedagogical mastery (senior, higher school); to know modern methodology of studies of foreign language; teaching of foreign languages at school on the basis of Ukrainian and international advanced experience, effective methods and educational technologies; a state standard, on-line tutorials and practical ways of their realization, the different types of the fixed and extracurricular activity at profile school of academic type; be able to plan, organize an educational process at school, to realize professionally-practical principles of studies of foreign language, to manage cognitive activity of students, to fold the plan of studies of English in profile school; on his basis to work out of lessons of study of separate theme; to conduct lesson and their fragments; to analyse the conducted employments; to carry out pedagogical accompaniment.
Course content
This course aims to provide bases of methodical training of students to fulfil functions of teacher of profession-orientad high school of practical type, to acquaint students with modern technologies of project and modelling the process of English learning, develop the competence in constructing the content and technologies of teaching a foreign language in accordance with learner's professional choice. This course involves formation of master students competence to project and design English learning process at profile school of practical type. Learners master modern theoretical methods of organising English teaching at school, modelling and projecting activity, learn to foresee the results of teaching, select teaching materials and teaching techniques to meet up-to-date demands of school students. Learners are to master: theory and practice of project modelling; modelling and designing of English learning contest and techniques at high profile school of practical type; categories of modern methodology of English teaching necessary for contest and learning methods developing; principles, methods and techniques of formation of language of school students at high profile school of practical type, speaking and sociocultural competence of school students in accordance with established learning technology; methods of organizing and designing extracurricular work at profile school of practical type; forms of control and assessment between the levels of language proficiency while teaching and assessing school students using developed teaching techniques.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is delivered in the forms: lectures, practical sessions, autonomous work and the teaching methods: project work, problem solving lectures, discussions, modelling, educational talk, multimedia educational technologies.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is formed by the points got a student during a semester, and points got on exam (60 points (60%) - formative assessment and 40 points (40%) - summative assessment). the evaluation is delivered through the following forms: answers at the practical sessions, tests, educational projects preparation and presentations. Examination is conducted to be the writing one (an examination card consists of 4 tasks - 2 theoretical and 2 practical tasks, each of that is estimated in 10 points maximum). Learning outcomes (LO): LO 1.1-1.8, LO 2.1-2.4, 4.1. (40/24 points).
