PLO 2 Work effectively with information: select necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic bases, critically analyze, interpret, organize, classify and systematize it. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Learners should know: the systemic organization of modern Ukrainian language; concepts of the origin of the Ukrainian language and the history of the development of its phonetic, lexical, and grammatical subsystems; stages, phenomena, and processes of the formation and development of the Ukrainian literary language; principles of periodization of the literary process, major historical periods in the development of Ukrainian literature, leading features of literary styles and movements; stages of the formation of a literary work from conception to publication, the specificity of creativity; principles of major trends in contemporary literary discourse. 2.Learners should be able to: apply terminology to denote key concepts in philology; analyze genre-stylistic features of a literary work and interpret them in the context of the era of creation and/or modernity; apply the toolkit of modern interpretative methods in the analysis of literary works, including their own.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to establish the factual correspondence of the level of educational and qualification training of the graduate to the requirements of the educational and qualification characteristics of the specialty (training direction). The comprehensive final exam in Ukrainian language and literature, literary creativity involves a thorough assessment of the knowledge and skills acquired during the study in the educational-professional program. The learner must respond to three general theoretical questions and complete a practical task related to the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of the proposed literary-artistic work. The exam is conducted in an oral-written form; the questions of the exam ticket reflect the content of the educational disciplines of the educational-professional program, namely: the comprehensive discipline "Modern Ukrainian Language"; the comprehensive discipline "History of Ukrainian Literature"; the cycle of disciplines of literary creativity, as well as the disciplines "Fundamentals of Linguistics", "Fundamentals of Literary Studies", "Textology", "Polycriticism".

The assessment of knowledge, which is revealed at the specified consecutive stages, is carried out according to the criteria for evaluating students' responses in the state exam in "Bachelor's".
