Learning outcomes
PLO 2 Work effectively with information: select necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic bases, critically analyze, interpret, organize, classify and systematize it. Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must: know: – the theory of literature; – basic phenomena of the Ukrainian literary process; - artistic texts in scientific reading, analytical comprehension and assimilation; - literary connections and the place of Ukrainian literature in the European space to possess: - the necessary terminological apparatus; - the methodology of the analysis of artistic texts; - skills of independent work with texts; to be able to: – analyze artistic texts with the involvement of various research methods and modern scientific terminology; - work with source and critical material; - express your thoughts logically and consistently; - competently refer to authoritative studies; - justify and argue one's own opinion.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to acquaint students with the theory of intertextuality; to teach them to operate with the method of intertextual analysis of artistic texts, to identify and investigate textual borrowings (intexts) in works of Ukrainian literature. The educational discipline "Fundamentals of the theory of intertextuality" is aimed at familiarizing students with the theory of intertextual analysis of texts; study of the intertextual section of the history of Ukrainian literature; identification and research of contexts (test inclusions) of various forms and genesis in works of Ukrainian and foreign literature.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Planned educational activities: oral response in the form of a report, messages, presentations, additions, participation in a discussion, control work with open answers. Teaching methods: lecture, seminar, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out according to the types of work and the form of control (exam). The grade is assigned based on the student's work throughout the semester and the passing of the exam, which is worth 40 points. Students who scored a total of less than 36 points during the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of written works, in order to be admitted to the exam. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points (positive grade), which are added to semester grades, is 24 points. The exam is conducted in the form of a written work, the exam ticket consists of two questions. Scale of conformity of grades: "excellent" – 90–100 points; "good" – 75–89 points; "satisfactory" – 60–74 points; "unsatisfactory" – 0–59 points.
