Learning outcomes
PLO 3 Organize the process of learning and self-education. PLO 4 Understand the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, society. PLO 13 Analyze and interpret Ukrainian and foreign fiction and folklore, define their specificity and place in literature process (according to the selected specialization). PLO 19 Have the skills to participate in theoretical and/or applied studies in the field of philology. PLO 21.2 Know literary process in Ukraine and the world of the 20th–21st centuries, as well as the context of literature, in particular, among other types of art.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the basic characteristics of art as a type of human activity; peculiarities of the functioning of literature in the context of art history; trends in the development of art forms at various stages of the formation of society.
Course content
The course is aimed at the formation of students' knowledge of literature in the context of the history of art, the study of their intermedial specificity, the main trends and features of the development of various types of art as a subject of philological studies, the clarification of the peculiarities of the phenomenon of a new aesthetic quality, mastery of the terminological apparatus and modern methodological base The subject of the course is the best examples of world and native artistic creativity in the context of intermedial studies.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Educational activities: oral answer, heuristic conversation, participation in the discussion, creative project, creative task, abstract task, analytical work with primary sources, task of final control for credit. Teaching methods: lecture, seminars, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The form of final assessment is a credit. According to the types of work, a student can score the following number of points: oral answer and heuristic conversation – 1-8, participation in a discussion – 1-8, creative project – 1-12, creative task (essay, review) – 1-12, abstract task – 1-12, and final control – 1-30. The final grade is the sum of all points scored during the semester. The grading scale is as follows: ""Passed"" - 60-100 points, ""Failed"" - 0-59 points.
