Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the course, students should know the main stages of the development of Ukrainian literature; peculiarities of creativity of writers representing the era, their contribution to the development of Ukrainian and world art; the nature of various genres and styles, the specifics of their embodiment in specific works. Be able to analyze literary texts, applying various methods and principles of analysis; to reveal the artistic specificity of literary trends, phenomena, styles of literature of the specified period. Possess basic knowledge of the theory and history of Ukrainian literature, skills of problem-thematic and genre-style analysis of texts, demonstrate the ability to apply acquired knowledge in practice.
Course content
Planned educational activities: response to a seminar session, creative task / presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations; final control work. Teaching methods: lecture, seminar class, independent work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Answer at the seminar session (minimum 1 - maximum 7); creative task / presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations (minimum 1 - maximum 9); final test (minimum 5 - maximum 10). The form of the final evaluation is the credit. Scale of conformity of grades: "Passed" - 60-100 "Not credited" - 0-59
