PLO 13 Analyze and interpret Ukrainian and foreign fiction and folklore, define their specificity and place in literature process (according to the selected specialization). PLO 16 Know and understand the basic concepts and theories of the chosen philological specialization, be able to apply them in professional activity. Full-time form

Before starting the course, students should know the main stages of the development of Ukrainian literature; peculiarities of creativity of writers representing the era, their contribution to the development of Ukrainian and world art; the nature of various genres and styles, the specifics of their embodiment in specific works. Be able to analyze literary texts, applying various methods and principles of analysis; to reveal the artistic specificity of literary trends, phenomena, styles of literature of the specified period. Possess basic knowledge of the theory and history of Ukrainian literature, skills of problem-thematic and genre-style analysis of texts, demonstrate the ability to apply acquired knowledge in practice.

Planned educational activities: response to a seminar session, creative task / presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations; final control work. Teaching methods: lecture, seminar class, independent work.

The form of the final evaluation is the credit. Scale of conformity of grades: "Passed" - 60-100 "Not credited" - 0-59
