PLO 2 Work effectively with information: select necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic bases, critically analyze, interpret, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3 Organize the process of learning and self-education. PLO 4 Understand the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, society.

1. Be able to interpret the fundamental laws of natural sciences. 2. Have skills in independent information search and its generalization.

The discipline is a part of the mandatory educational components and occupies a central place in the natural training of a philologist and cultural studies specialist, integrating knowledge from all natural sciences into the humanities sphere. The teaching of this discipline is aimed at the theoretical mastery by students of the fundamentals of ecology, environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, and the ability to apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities for ecological management in the diversity of technological and social systems.
