Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods encompass consultations and independent student work. Educational activities during the internship involve the student completing a professional technical and creative-scientific project received from the practice base curator within the chosen specialization at the initial stage of the internship. The student also undertakes an individual creative-scientific task, either planned for independent execution or performed as part of a group. In addition to this, the student prepares materials for a report on the internship experience, which will be publicly presented during the internship defense.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is conducted through a differentiated credit system. Depending on the type of work, students can accumulate the following points: execution of a professionally oriented technical project – 1-20; execution of a professionally oriented creative-scientific project – 1-20; completion of an individual creative-scientific task, either independently or as part of a group project – 1-40; preparation of report materials – 1-10; public defense of internship results – 1-10. The total points for the internship are determined by the grades obtained by the student during the practical (source-study) internship. The overall assessment for the internship is a combination of points received for the work performed in the position at the institution (recommended by the supervisor) and points for the student's written report, the quality and conformity of report materials, and the public defense. The grading scale is as follows: "Passed" – 60-100, "Failed" – 0-59.
