PRN 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication.

PRN 22.2. To know the culturally determined factors that shape the relationship between communicators in the conditions of various communicative situations for adequate reproduction in translation from Polish and Lithuanian languages.
PRN 24.2. Apply methods and strategies established in translation studies for oral and written translation.

Course content
Communicative and translation practice is aimed at forming and developing the skills of written and oral sequential translation from the Polish language into Ukrainian and from the Ukrainian language into Polish within the studied domestic, socio-political, geographical, legal, scientific, country studies, cultural, etc. topics. In addition, taking into account the development of computer technology, mastering of electronic translation platforms, useful in further professional activities, should be considered a separate type of work. Students should improve their skills in applying basic translation tools in practice; perform Polish-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Polish translation in the amount of previously learned grammatical and lexical, linguistic and cultural material.

Assessment methods and criteria
Tasks and deadlines for their completion are determined in the individual plan of practice. Adherence to the specified deadlines is a mandatory prerequisite for a positive assessment of the task. Evaluation is carried out according to the types of tasks and evaluation criteria
