PLO 2. Effectively work with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, arrange, classify and systematize it.
PLO 15. Perform linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of courses: "Ukrainian folklore", "Ukrainian folk music"; completion of educational folklore and production ethnographic practices.
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of Ukrainian traditional culture, its fixation.
Possession of the methodology of scientific research, search and processing of educational and scientific information; use of professional informative sources; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; methods of working with folklore texts of various directions, ethnocultural artifacts.
Ability to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process it, make generalizations and conclusions; collect and analyze information on artifacts of traditional culture; determine the historical and cultural value of cultural heritage samples.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form among the students of education a system of knowledge about documentation, conducting an examination, providing an expert assessment on the authenticity of artifacts of ethnoculture.
Annotation. The educational discipline "Documentation, examination and inventory of folklore product" belongs to the list of electives, taught in the eighth semester of the bachelor's degree - in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "Folklore, Ukrainian language and literature and foreign language".
The structure of the training course involves consideration of the theoretical foundations of documenting a folklore sample (ethnocultural artifact); the procedure for conducting its inventory; the basic principles, conditions and procedure for carrying out an examination, preparation of an expert opinion. Mastering the volume of issues considered in the course gives students the opportunity to master the basics of expert evaluation of a folklore artifact.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out according to the types of works and the form of the counter. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "enrolled". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "not enrolled". Students who scored less than 60 points in total for the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of writing independent works, performing a practical task on documenting a folklore sample of various types, or, if necessary, write a control paper.
