To apply to solve complex problems of political science the understanding of the nature and meaning of politics as a specific type of human activity and a special field of knowledge, including the development of ideas about politics and its modern interpretations, features of the exercise of power in various political systems, their socio-economic, historical and sociocultural context. 6. Critically consider the principles of the exercise of power and public policy, political institutions and processes, world politics and the politics of individual countries and regions. 10. To participate productively in scientific cooperation both at the national and international levels.

Distance form

To know the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the educational disciplines "History of Philosophy", "Theoretical and Practical Philosophy", "Theory of Knowledge", "Philosophy and Methodology of Science". Be able to apply the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the educational disciplines "History of Philosophy", "Theoretical and Practical Philosophy", "Theory of Knowledge", "Philosophy and Methodology of Science" in scientific work, plan scientific work, analyze and establish the content of intellectual property rights. Possess elementary skills of conducting scientific research, presented in the process of writing term papers, possess skills of critical thinking, processing a significant array of scientific material with the provision of own conclusions and proposals.

The discipline "Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property" is a mandatory educational discipline that ensures the acquisition of general competencies by graduates of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. The program of the academic discipline consists of three substantive parts. In parts 1 and 2, the meaning of the concepts of "methodology", "methodology", "research methods", the understanding of science as research is revealed, the specifically scientific, general scientific and philosophical levels of methodology are considered. A set of methodological systems of modern philosophy of science is outlined. The methods of searching for scientific information, the content of the organization of scientific research (including master's research) are disclosed. The 3rd part covers intellectual property issues.
