Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the most important facts, events and processes of the historical past of the history of the Ukrainian state. Be able to: identify the main historical periods of Ukrainian state formation. Possess: elementary skills of source criticism, historical analysis, establishment of cause and effect relationships.
Course content
Studying the history of Ukrainian statehood in a certain system is designed to give a young specialist thorough scientific knowledge about the main stages of national statehood, glorious and tragic pages of the past and present of our Motherland, to contribute to the formation of a sense of patriotism and national consciousness, high culture, moral values, skills and abilities to conduct scientific discussions on issues of the history of the Ukrainian state. The subject, tasks, theoretical foundations, methodologies, main directions and problems of the course are determined. All stages of the history of national state formation are considered sequentially.

Assessment methods and criteria
The points obtained by the student on the final test are added to the points obtained by the student based on the results of the semester evaluation (seminar classes, modular tests, creative works). A mandatory requirement for admission to the final test (credit) is that the student scores at least 20 points during the semester evaluation. A student who received a total number of points less than the critical minimum - 20 points, in order to receive a credit, it is necessary, within the deadlines set by the teacher, to pass an interview on the missed topics of lectures and seminar classes in order to gain the critical minimum and be admitted to the calculation of the credit. The recommended minimum for admission to the final test (credit) is 48 points.
