РLO 17. Explain the specifics of the literary process of different countries in the cultural context, characterize literary epochs, artistic trends, movements, genres, styles, achievements of national literatures, interpret works of classics and modernity. РLO 18. Apply various types of analysis of a work of art, determine its genre and style, place in the literary process, traditions and innovation. РLO 19. To ensure a dialogue of cultures in the process of studying the first Turkic language and literature and English, to create conditions for intercultural communication. РLO 20. Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must successfully complete the comprehensive discipline "Practical Turkish Language Course" (parts 1 and 2), "Ukrainian and Foreign Culture", and have a sufficient level of Turkish language to study literary works in Turkish; know the basic ethno-cultural vocabulary that reflects the national character and worldview of the Turks and is found in literary works in Turkish; have basic skills in analyzing poems and stories (on the examples of oral folk literature and works of Turkish writers).
Course content
"History of Literature of the Region of the First Turkic Language" is a compulsory discipline taught from the perspective of mastering the ancient Turkic cultural heritage and understanding the origins of the history of Turkic-speaking peoples, their literary monuments, which laid the foundation for the further formation and development of Gagauz literature. The discipline forms general ideas about Turkic literatures in general and, using specific examples of Turkish literature, pays attention to the study of basic concepts of literary theory and teaches students to competently apply them in the analysis, interpretation of literary works and philological criticism of the text. The discipline is one of the compulsory ones (2 semesters; 150 hours in total) and serves as a basis for studying further courses in Gagauz literature. The program of the discipline consists of 2 content modules. Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars. The discipline ends in the second semester with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report: 9 - 15 points. 2. Supplements, participation in the discussion: 3 - 9 points. 3. Work with different sources: 2 - 4 points. 4. Power Point presentation defense: 6 - 12 points. 5. Module test №1: 8 - 10 points. 6. Module test №2: 8 - 10 points. 7. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
