Learning outcomes
PLO1. To communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized problems and problems of professional activity. PLO10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Turkish and English languages. PLO 14. To use Turkish and English, in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of professional disciplines during previous courses. 2. Appropriate knowledge of the material in the field of morphology, grammar, syntax of modern Turkish at the B1 level. 3. Possession of skills of free expression of their point of view in oral and written form B1.
Course content
Knowledge in the areas of taxis, syntax, and morphology of the modern Turkish language is systematized. Considerable attention is paid to the systematization of knowledge, consolidation of previously learned grammatical phenomena on a wider lexical material. Complex cases of use of lexical and grammatical constructions are also studied. Particular attention is paid to the in-depth mastery of Turkish for special professional purposes in the future professional activities of translators. The development of practical skills is carried out by selecting the optimal forms and types of classes that are as close as possible to the future activities of translators.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: Module I: 1. Work in practical classes: 3.5 - 32 points. 2. Home reading: 2 - 8 points. 3. Module test: 1 - 10 points. Module II: 1. Work in practical classes: 2.5 - 32 points. 2. Home reading: 2 - 8 points. 3. Module test: 1 - 10 points.
