Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized problems and problems of professional activity. PLO 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Turkish and English languages. PLO 14. To use Turkish and English, in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the disciplines "Turkish Language" (1st year), "Linguistic Studies of the Turkish Language"; 2. Know the grammatical forms and lexical items that are provided for the first year of study; 3. Possession of elementary skills of language and speech competence, which forms the A2 level.
Course content
The main types of speech activities in Turkish are developed: reading, speaking, writing and listening. Students' communicative language competencies are developed: perception and understanding of elementary listening discourse, ability to communicate on topics defined by the program, text comprehension and ability to reproduce what they have read. Students improve writing and reading skills that meet the requirements of an intermediate level of foreign language proficiency. The ability to use the theoretical aspect of grammar material in practical application is developed.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes: 23 - 31 points. 2. Home reading: 3 - 9 points. 3. Module test №1: 5 - 10 points. 4. Module test №2: 5 - 10 points. 5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
