PLO 7 Analyze, compare and classify different trends and schools in linguistics. PLO 9 Characterize the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of Crimean Tatar philology. PLO 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of different styles and genres. PLO16 Use specialized conceptual knowledge of Crimean Tatar philology to solve complex problems and issues that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements. PLO17. Plan, organize, implement and present research and/or innovative developments in Crimean Tatar philology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prior to taking this course, students must have successfully mastered the professional disciplines during their bachelor's degree, have basic factual knowledge of the humanities. Know the basics of linguistic studies, oriental philology and history of the Crimean Tatar language; Possess basic skills of cognitive and professional activity, culture of thinking, its general laws; scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline and tasks (learning objectives): to acquaint students with the theoretical provisions of the discipline, with the most famous scientists in the field of Turkic linguistics and their works, to consider the current state and current trends in linguistic research in the field of Turkology; to develop students' cognitive interests, the desire to improve their professional competence. The discipline is theoretical and practical in nature and contributes to the practical formation of future Turkologists' experience and knowledge necessary for their future professional activities. The discipline examines the ways of formation of modern Turkic science in Turkish and foreign linguistics, its goals and objectives; theoretical postulates, concepts, category and conceptual apparatus of leading Turkic schools; analyzes the main works on Turkish linguistics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer: 21 - 28 points. 2. Additions, participation in the discussion: 3 - 6 points. 3. Individual work (presentation of the report (10 minutes): 4 - 8 points. 4. Modular control work: 8 - 18 points. 5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
