Successful mastery of the disciplines "Chinese Language", "Introduction to Oriental Philology", "Translation Practice", "Theory and Practice of Translation", "Translation Studies", "Linguocraine Studies", etc.; Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of philological science (linguistics and literary studies) and cultural studies; Possession of the practice of translation of Chinese-language text, skills of literary and cultural analysis of original works. The ability to carry out the most accurate sequential and simultaneous translation of a certain volume of text from the Chinese language.

The purpose of the discipline is the development and improvement of students' language and translation competence, which will give them the opportunity to carry out professional translation of audiovisual materials. Acquisition by students of practical skills of professional use of the Chinese language in the field of oral and written translation. The discipline is one of the components of comprehensive training in the specialty "Philology (Oriental Languages and Literatures)" under the program "Chinese Language and Literature and Translation, English", selective block "Chinese Studies: Linguistics and Translation".

The course provides for the following forms of organization of training: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer to practical lesson, oral sequential translation, written translation from video, modular control work with open answers. Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 100 points, in the minimum dimension of 60 points. The discipline ends with a credit, which is exhibited based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
