Learning outcomes
To know the basic principles of the theory of international relations and present the components of the analysis of foreign policy. To know information about the main schools of theory of international relations and their leaders, well-known scientists and politicians, who involved in the development of the theory of international relations. To be able to systematize knowledge about the theoretical components of the evolution of international relations and analyze historical and contemporary events of international life. Also be able to find, identify and analyze documents of foreign policy content, identify the most important events of the world order. To work with manuals and scientific literature. Communication in the process of comparative analysis of the theoretical foundations of foreign policy; analysis of the origins and forecasting the consequences of foreign policy actions of various objects and subjects of the international sphere.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- To know the theoretical components of foreign policy. - To be able to analyze the causes and consequences of foreign policy actions and decisions. - To have basic skills in finding and analyzing analytical materials and sources about history and practice of foreign policy. - To know foreign languages, including English, to understand the documents of the legal system of international relations
Course content
Content of module 1. Theory and practice of foreign policy 1. Collapse of the bipolar system of international relations. Global and local crises 2. Modern concepts of political development of the world. 3. Challenges to national security at the regional and sub regional levels Content module 2. Forecast scenarios as a result of analysis of foreign policy actions 4. Mechanisms for the implementation of foreign policy tasks at the bilateral and multilateral levels 5. Forecast scenarios for further development of the foreign policy component of international relations 6. Combination of theory and practice in foreign policy decision making. 7. Foreign policy analysis of current international events
