Learning outcomes
To know and understand the nature, sources and directions of evolution of international relations, international politics, foreign policy and diplomacy of states, the state of theoretical research of international relations and world politics. To know the nature of international communications, various formats of international cooperation, the problems of development of states and international regions in global, regional and local contexts. To collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics, foreign policy and diplomacy of states. To develop and implement applied research projects in the studies of international relations, world politics, foreign policy and diplomacy of states. To defend professionally the interests of Ukraine in various spheres of international relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- to know the theory of international relations, the practice of its key actors. - to be able to analyze the dynamics of interstate diplomatic cooperation, current trends in world politics. - to possess basic skills of analytical work, preparation and evaluation of documents, conducting research.
Course content
Topic 1. Conceptual and theoretical foundations of interparliamentary diplomacy. Topic 2. Parliamentary diplomacy in Canadian foreign policy. Topic 3. Interparliamentary diplomacy in the work of the OSCE and the CoE. Topic 4. Parliamentary diplomacy in interdepartmental relations and EU intergovernmental diplomacy Topic 5. EU parliamentary diplomacy in international cooperation of the world's regions Topic 6. The parliamentary dimension of modern UN governance Topic 7. Parliamentary diplomacy in solving the global food problem Topic 8. Parliamentary diplomacy and the global problem of ecology
