Learning outcomes
To know the nature of international communications, various formats of international cooperation, the problems of development of states and international regions in global, regional and local contexts.
To assess and analyze international, foreign policy and diplomatic problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems.
To communicate free in the official language of Ukraine and foreign languages orally and in writing, on professional and scientific issues.
To evaluate the results of own work and be responsible for personal professional development.

- To have basic knowledge of communication theory and public administration.
- To be able to process educational and scientific literature, analyze official documents and communication messages of the authorities.
- To possess the skills of political analysis and forecasting.
Course content
Module 1
Theoretical principles of public communication in governmental sector
1. Public communication in governmental sector as one of the types of communication in the society
2. Principles, forms and methods of public communication in governmental sector
3. Communication strategy in governmental sector
4. Organization of activities of press services and other subdivisions for public communication of state bodies of Ukraine.
Module 2.
Special cases of public communication in governmental sector
5. Features of public communication with foreign audiences.
6. Ethnocultural factor in international public communication.
7. Public communication on the Internet.
8. Crisis public communication of state bodies and public communication under the conditions of information wars.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, comments, participation in discussion, presentation – up to 60 points.
