            Prerequisites for mastering or choosing a discipline (if any):
- have knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the socio-humanitarian cycle;
- know the basic categories and concepts related to human life and society;
- be able to identify, analyze educational and scientific information, draw sound conclusions on professional activities;
- have basic skills in compiling written documents, adjusting their content, systematization of materials necessary for work, effective organization of their own educational activities.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The discipline is aimed at forming in students a set of knowledge and skills necessary for the correct application of the provisions of law governing the procedure for concluding, amending and terminating an employment contract, the basic provisions of the collective agreement, working hours, rest, labor protection, rationing and remuneration, labor discipline, responsibility of the parties to the employment contract, supervision and control over compliance with labor legislation, protection of labor rights.

            The purpose of the discipline - is to form in students a system of knowledge about the basic concepts and institutions of labor law, as well as the formation of students' competencies and basic practical skills in the application of labor law.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            During the current control during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in response, activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework.
