Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Introduction to University Studios", "Economic Theory", "History of Economics and Economic Thought", "History of Management", "Management", "Marketing", "Personnel Management", "Economics of Enterprise", "Philosophy", "Investments".
2. Know: theoretical bases of economics, history of economics and economic thought, statistics, management, marketing, investment, management of human resources.
3. Possess: skills to study and master modern knowledge, to analyze the readings and to compare and contrast the opinions of scientists on the researched scientific problem, to use modern possibilities of access to information and methods of its accumulation.
Course content
The following is studied: the essence of innovation management; innovation process, its structure and components, forms of implementation, the evolution of models of formation and development; innovation activity, its essence, subjects of implementation and features of management; types of organizational structures of innovation enterprises and enterprises carrying out innovation activity; forms of organization of innovation activity; innovation infrastructure, its objects and role of activation of innovation activity. Practical aspects of planning innovative processes at the enterprise; strategic management of innovations; management of innovative transformations in the organization; financial support of innovative activity are considered.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, individual work, which is prepared during the semester and presented at the seminars at the end of the semester and is devoted to the organization and managing innovation in leading companies using primary sources.
Assessment methods and criteria
Student assessment forms: (max. points 60/minimum points 36)
1. Oral answers, including group assignments - 30 points/18 points.
2. Complex practical task (independent work) - 10 points/6 points.
3. Two control works for 10 points - 20 points/12 points.
Final assessment in the form of an exam.
