Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Fundamentals of Pedagogy"; "Fundamentals of Psychology"; possession of skills and abilities to form the main regulators of activities and behavior in educational institutions. Know: basic categories and concepts, methods of pedagogical research; contradictions, forms, methods and techniques of pedagogical influence on the individual in the process of learning, education, development and self-improvement; leading theories of organization in society of education, training, upbringing; opportunities to apply the acquired knowledge in professionally defining situations. Be able to: characterize psychological and pedagogical approaches to understanding pedagogical phenomena; define the basic concepts of pedagogical science in the system of higher education; solve practical problems, apply theoretical knowledge, personal experience and training materials in solving specific tasks in the field of future activities.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline "Pedagogy" is providing students with systematic knowledge, revealing the laws of the educational process, the formation of integrity, comprehensive competencies in accordance with state standards, requirements of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, skills to solve actual problems, influence the development of moral and ethical qualities and personal values. . The course "Pedagogy" reveals the purpose, subject, objectives, basic concepts and categories, methods of scientific and pedagogical research. It addresses issues of development, education and socialization of the individual; components of didactics and theories of education, in particular principles, methods, techniques, types, means, etc. The discipline acquaints with actual problems of training and education of the person.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work based on textbooks and abstracts; during the preparation and сщтвгсештп seminars - active and interactive (projects, presentations, discussions), consultations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of students' knowledge is carried out during all types of classes and the results of self-study work. During the classes are evaluated: oral answer, presentation, essay, practical, self-study tasks. Modular tests are performed and evaluated after the completion of the first and second modules separately. The minimum number of points for work during the semester is 36 points The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60 points. Exam is 40 points. In total, the student can master a maximum of 100 points.
