Assessment methods and criteria
The final score for the course (maximum 100 points) is determined by the sum of points for systematic work throughout the semester, taking into account the final exam. The pass is based on the student's performance throughout the semester and does not involve additional assessments. For students who have accumulated a total score lower than the critical minimum of 60 points, obtaining a pass requires mandatory makeup of missed topics in written form and submission via email to the instructor. Thus, the final assessment for the course (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of points for semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final exam (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
